Dr. Shannon Reeves
DVM
Dr. Shannon Reeves joined our team in January of 2025. She is from Rockwall, Texas, where she and her fiancé live with their 3 dogs. They recently relocated from East Texas, where Dr. Reeves had practiced since earning her DVM degree from Texas A&M University in 2018. She is most excited to get to know our clients and their pets. Her hopes are to learn more about exotic medicine from Dr. Rowan while contributing expertise in her special interest of clinical pathology. Dr. Reeves has always loved science and helping with her ‘Papaw’s’ cows, so veterinary medicine was a natural fit. Dr. Reeves first entered the veterinary field as a technician during her undergraduate studies at Texas State University. In this role, she learned how much she could help people through their animals and found her calling. Her boss and mentor, Dr. Williams, recognized her passion and encouraged Dr. Reeves to pursue acceptance to the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. In her free time, Dr. Reeves loves to play with her 3 dogs and enjoys gardening.
